I am the founder of Energized Retirement Planners and have lived in Bismarck since graduating from the University of Mary with degrees in finance and business administration. I grew up on a farm as part of a family of seven.
Early in my career, I had many conversations with people approaching retirement. I noticed that while investments were given much attention, other areas such as taxes, cash flow, healthcare, and legacy planning were addressed separately, if at all.
Energized Retirement Planners was formed to take a more coordinated approach to retirement planning. I am a Certified Financial Planner® professional and an Enrolled Agent (EA), which means financial and tax considerations can be discussed together rather than separately. In some cases, our firm also handles tax preparation so planning and implementation stay connected.
Outside of work, I enjoy time with family, school activities and spending time outdoors with our two dogs, Mia and Brynn. If you see a muddy red truck with two dogs hanging out the window, it might be me.
