Will you act as a Fiduciary in our relationship?

Will you act as a Fiduciary in our relationship?

Yes, always. We are ethically bound to a Fiduciary Standard of Care in all advisory relationships.

The Fiduciary standard is the highest standard in the industry, requiring us to always place your interests ahead of our own. As a firm with CFP® professionals, we adhere to this commitment without exception. You can trust that every recommendation we propose—from tax planning to investment management—is designed solely to achieve your best financial outcome.

How does the Enrolled Agent (EA) designation enhance the advice you give as a CFP®?

This is the core difference between Energized Retirement Planners and a typical firm. While the CFP® credential ensures competency across all aspects of financial planning, the Enrolled Agent (EA) license is the highest credential awarded by the IRS. It signifies advanced expertise in the tax code and allows us to legally represent taxpayers before the IRS.

A general advisor must stop at "tax strategies" and tell you to check with your CPA or tax professional. Because we have an EA on staff, we are qualified to move beyond vague strategies to actionable, integrated tax advice and ensure it's executed correctly—which is why we offer in-house tax preparation. This integration is the key to minimizing your lifetime tax liability.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Center for Financial Planning, Inc. owns and licenses the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER®, and CFP® (with plaque design) in the United States to Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., which authorizes individuals who successfully complete the organization’s initial and ongoing certification requirements to use the certification marks.
